I’ve been bringing my 2004 Honda Civic to Scott for a few years, and I cannot recommend this shop enough. As a girl who does a lot of my own wrenching, it is incredibly hard to find a shop that takes you seriously and doesn’t try to take advantage of you. Scott and his team has been a complete breath of fresh air. Scott and his team actually support my DIY projects. Years ago, when I did my drum brakes backwards, his team showed me exactly what I did wrong and let me take the car home to fix it myself before double-checking my work for safety. They also helped me properly charge my AC after I replaced my own compressor. They work around my custom engine bay wiring and have no problem helping me tighten locking nuts on my aftermarket coilovers. They never upsell; when my CV axles were acting up, they replaced the one that was bad and simply rebooted the other to save me money. Honest, knowledgeable, and supporter of the DIY community—Scott and his team are the best in the business. I live in Portland now, and I still drive all the way out because their team is that good.

Being someone who works in the automotive industry I would not trust most shops for my personal needs. That being said Scott and all of his crew are amazing. Had an issue with a personal vehicle that I did not want to deal with. Had my car towed to Auto Firm, the diagnostic was completed timely, the estimate was fair and the repair was fast. Hands down a honest shop that I trust. I will continue to use Auto Firm for all repairs I do not want to do myself and refer all my family and friends. A honest mechanic that you can trust.

Everyone there is delightful! I've been taking my old car to them for years. They do great work and are reasonably priced. Most importantly, I trust them implicitly. They never try to upsell or do unnecessary work. I highly recommend them.
